"Challenge #5 ~ Christmas In July"

Good Morning Everyone! Welcome to Challenge #5 "Christmas In July"! We have all been complaining how hot it is here in the states, so we thought this would be the perfect time to think of cooler weather! When I think of cooler weather, I think of Winter and Christmas! I know that several of my friends and I always say each year, how we ARE going to get a head start on our Holiday Cards and Projects; well this year we are going to be sure that happens! LOL! How many of you would also like to get a jump start on those cards and creations? We would like for you to join us, then! You can use any image for this challenge! We would LOVE to see all types of creations, whether it is a Card, Scrapbook Page, or Other Paper Crafting Projects!

All of our Design Team's inspiration is listed above, along with Inlinkz. This challenge will run until Sunday, July 31, 2011 at 7pm CST. Please be sure to check the challenge tab for ALL the guidelines that we have set for our challenges! And for an added bonus, we will be looking for some creative talent to add as our Guest Design Team and works of art to be spotlighted! So be ready, just in case you are picked!

Aletha J. Williams, one of our Designers and an Ippity Chick is our sponsor for this challenge! You can visit her Get Hippity With Ippity Sales Blog anytime to see the latest and greatest from Ippity (which is a branch off of the Unity Company!)

Get Hippity with Ippity

I know, I know... you are wondering what the prize will be for this challenge!?! Aletha has so graciously given the okay to Paper Creations Ink to advertise this Ippity Set as the winning prize, It is called Merry Kissmas & Mistletoe!

Isn't it an awesome set? I can think of several ways to use this set! Now here is a some information about Aletha!

My name is Aletha Jane Williams; I live in Tulsa, OK or better known as “tornado alley.”  I am a self-taught artist, still in the process of learning. I have been in the graphic arts/print production industry for many years. When I started in the industry we created everything manually, no computers involved. (Can you believe that? LOL!)

During my 15 years of experience in the “crafting/art” world I have created rubber stamped art, mixed media, and collage. In 2009, I became disabled and unable to work outside the home. I am taking this disability one day at a time. I concentrate on my health and my art. My creations will always involve rubber or digi stamps. I am an obsessive collector of stamps. I feel like I am collecting little pieces of art that I can use to create my own art.  My other hobbies include cross stitching, reading, trying to get on the treadmill every day, collecting (besides stamps) cardstock and designer papers. Will I ever use all the stamps and paper? No, but we will be able to sell some of it for retirement! LOL! I have an Etsy Shop, http://ajsdesigns.etsy.com, but I am not getting rich off that. LOL! I am also a “Unity Endorsed {Ippity} Chick”, and the only Chick in Oklahoma. Check out my Get Hippity with Ippity Sales Blog for all the latest goodies, http://alethajanesgotippity.blogspot.com!

I live with my husband (he’s a writer/editor and telecommutes), one 16 year old cat (Lucyfur), and one 17 year old dog (Watson the Dachshund).  We have two grown married children and two grandsons.

I’m very excited to be one of the designers with Paper Creations Ink. I am honored to be working with this talented and eclectic group of artists. I am anxious to see where Paper Creations Ink is taking us all. Thanks for taking the time to visit Paper Creations Ink and read about my life. You can visit my blog at http://ajsdesigns.blogspot.com to see more of my work and contact me anytime at ajsdesigns@cox.net.

As always thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions feel free to leave us a message with a way to contact you (email or blog address)!
Have a wonderfully creative week!

I don't know how I didn't enter my Christmas projects before this! I was having some technical difficulty, but Sara and Michael appear to have fixed whatever it was!
I'm on my way over to my blog now to make sure all the projects I entered are linked back here!

Ho Ho Ho Here we go!!
